Requirements

Rental Period

The rental period starts at the time and date specified in the rental agreement and ends when the vehicle is returned to Tropic Ocean. Extensions to the rental period must be approved by Tropic Ocean in advance, and additional charges may apply.

Vehicle Usage

• The vehicle is to be used only within the UAE unless prior written consent has been obtained.
• The renter is prohibited from using the vehicle for racing, off-road driving, towing, or any unlawful activities.
• Smoking, carrying hazardous materials, or transporting animals in the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Cleaning or damage fees will apply if this condition is violated.

Insurance & Liability

Basic insurance coverage is included with all rentals as per UAE traffic law. The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence, reckless driving, or violation of the rental agreement terms. The renter agrees to report any accident or damage to Tropic Ocean immediately.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling surcharge will apply based on the current fuel rate plus a service fee.

Speed Limits & Salik (Toll)

The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, speed camera tickets, and Salik (toll gate) charges incurred during the rental period. These will be charged to the renter’s account with applicable administrative fees.

Cancellation & No-Show

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are fully refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a charge. No-shows without prior notice will be charged for the first day of rental.

Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location, date, and time. Late returns will incur additional daily charges. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as provided, with normal wear and tear expected.

General

Tropic Ocean reserves the right to refuse service at any time. These terms are subject to change without prior notice. By entering into a rental agreement, the renter acknowledges and accepts all terms outlined above.
