What documents do I need to rent a car?
For tourists: Passport, home country driving license, and International Driving Permit (if applicable). For UAE residents: UAE Driving License and Emirates ID. You must be at least 23 years old.
What is included in the rental price?
Our rental price includes basic insurance, 250 km per day mileage allowance, no deposit, and delivery & pickup service. The vehicle is from our own fleet, ensuring quality and maintenance standards.
Do you offer delivery and pickup?
Yes! We provide complimentary delivery and pickup service. We can deliver your vehicle to Dubai International Airport, your hotel, or any location within the city. Airport delivery is available 24/7 to match your flight schedule.

Is there a minimum age requirement?
The minimum age to rent a vehicle from Tropic Ocean is 23 years old. A valid driving license meeting UAE requirements is mandatory for all renters.
Booking & Pricing
How do I book a car?
You can book a car through our website, by calling +971 56 222 3386, or via WhatsApp. Simply select your desired vehicle, dates, and delivery location, and our team will confirm your booking.
Are weekly or monthly discounts available?
Yes! We offer special weekly and monthly rates on most vehicles. Look for the weekly and monthly discount badges on our car listings, or contact us directly for a customized long-term rental quote.
What happens if I exceed the daily mileage limit?
Each rental includes 250 km per day. If you exceed this limit, an additional charge per kilometer will apply. The over-mileage rate depends on the vehicle category and will be communicated at the time of booking.
Can I cancel or modify my booking?
Yes. Cancellations made 48+ hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24-48 hours receive a 50% refund. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. Modifications can be made by contacting our team.
Vehicle & Insurance
Is insurance included?
Yes, basic insurance coverage is included with all rentals as per UAE traffic law. This covers standard collision damage. For enhanced coverage options, please contact us directly.
Can I take the vehicle outside the UAE?
By default, vehicles are to be used only within the UAE. Taking the vehicle outside the UAE requires prior written consent from Tropic Ocean. Unauthorized cross-border travel will void insurance coverage.
What should I do in case of an accident?
In case of an accident, follow these steps:
- Ensure everyone’s safety and call emergency services (999) if needed.
- Contact Tropic Ocean immediately via WhatsApp or call +971 56 222 3386.
- Do not move the vehicle until police arrive and issue a report.
- Take photos of the scene and collect the police report.
Are all vehicles from your own fleet?
Yes, 100% of our vehicles are owned by Tropic Ocean. We do not broker or sub-rent from third parties. This ensures consistent quality, proper maintenance, and reliable service for every customer.
